Thanksgiving Turkeys: The Crimson Centipede

Here at Again With the Comics, we loves our crappy old B-list Supervillains, and aren't afraid to say so. The Beetle, Egg-Fu, Stilt-Man, and MODOK have all been covered, but what about the villains that make them look good? We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving by showcasing some real turkeys - truly goofy Bad Guys, most of whom appeared only once.

I don't actually own Wonder Woman #169, featuring the only appearance of the Crimson Centipede, but now I crave it with every fiber of my being. Look at this guy! He shouldn't even be able to move, let alone smack Wonder Woman around, but there he is anyway, bless his li'l heart(s?). Shockingly, he never appeared again. I guess the "new golden age of villainy" had to wait just a bit longer...

Hey, just discovered your blog through Dave's Long Box. Funny stuff. I can't wait to see the rest of Turkey's Week.

Yeah, the post sounds like spam, but it ain't! Look at this "life-like" commentary.

Ok, sorry about that. Nice blog!

Peace!
