Oh my god. WHAT is this from?!
It's part of the "Doc Strange" story from a mid-1940's issue of "America's Best Comics", issue number and credits unknown.
The best part about this post is that the panels are psoted with absolutely no jokes or witty asides at all--the images speak for themselves!
One cannot fight fire apes until one dons one's ever-so-classy riding pants, apparently.
Oh mah deah lawd, as Blanche Devereaux would say. That is quite the 1940s goodness, right there.
Wait...you mean that some of the posts on this blog have jokes and witty asides?!Also, everyone knows Death is a broad, just ask Thanos!
Riding pants and capes aside, those are rather casual-looking superhero costumes, no?"Red T-shirts, Doc? Really?""Just put it on, Mike. They were on sale."
That may be one of the greatest lines ever written, period. "The fire apes skulk forward...and death is abroad." That's Pulp poetry, jack.
The Skulking Fire Apes may well be the best band name EVER! Just sayin'.
