Hereabouts they're known as HaShamen ve'HaRazeh (the Fat One and the Thin One).
Except that it was Oliver Hardy who was the dick, not Stan Laurel. Stan was the doof(us). ;-)
Ladies and gentlemen, the former President and Vice-President of the United States!
It really doesn't help that the translation is "Stout and Dumb"
In ex-Yugoslavia there known as Stanlio and Olio.
But is Bill Clinton the Dick or the Doof? The argument could be made either way.
Politics aside, I always prefered Abbott & Costello over Laurel & Hardy.
