Doom Patrol Dollies

Aside from the comics, I'm also an action figure nut. Or as I prefer to call them, "wee dollies".

I've acquired quite a collection of both Marvel and DC characters, but until today I've been denied the Doom Patrol. Bandai almost did the DP as part of their Teen Titans line a few years back, but sadly only prototypes (pictured above) were produced. It was a true tragedy, I tell you. Anyway, Doom Patrol action figures are finally a reality! Lookit what I ordered:

I received them today, and they are swank. They now stand next to the Legion of Superheroes on my JLU display. And of course, that led to a whole reshuffling of shelves, and rearranging of ranks, and so forth. I think I'm gonna have to do one of those "shelf porn" deals soon, and show off my loot.

Nice, and I'm looking forward to the shelf pics!

I want the DCUC Robotman, but he's a Walmart exclusive; which means I have a better chance of finding mint-on-card plutonium in the toy aisle. Negative Man's coming next year, and Rita might get a build-a-figure later.

I hate Mento, though. Such a jerkhole...

Ugh, tell me about it, re DCUC. I manged to complete Chemo, not even close on anything else. They really went the extra mile to make completing the Doom Patrol as difficult as possible, didn't they? Beast Boy is also in the Walmart Exclusive line. I'm not even gonna try.

the only thing that made me pass on the set was no chief for did not like mento and since robot man in the dcu classics line is a walmart ex i may wind up still denied the doom patrol unless dc direct makes them as a catch up.
