Here are two build-a- Figures that were especially hard to assemble: FIN FANG FOOM and CHEMO. These BAFs are BFFs!
The Northeast corner is Simpsons corner, holding my collection of the late '90s Playmates Simpsons figures and backgrounds:
The Northwest corner of the room holds still more figures, mostly DC comics. Note that the cabinet contains my custom action figures, featured in three previous posts.
The middle shelf holds JLU villains, supporting cast, the Legion of Superheroes, and the Doom Patrol:
The top shelf holds some interesting odds and ends from the DCU:
Finally, the West wall has two bookshelves packed with graphic novels, a computer kiosk, and still more dollies.
And yes, the south end of the room has toys as well...kid toys. And it is a total disaster. It's like a Two-Face room. The boy's half of the room is a litter of Transformers, superheroes, Spongebob, Star Wars, and you-name-it. We enjoy it down there though, and he's been very good about respecting my stuff.
Believe it or not, I also have boxes of older action figures still in storage, and statues that still need to go upstairs, and of course there's the comic books themselves; 30-plus longboxes on steel shelves in the garage. You know, I might have too much stuff.

Woah. My wife would kill me if I had that much stuff. Literally.
Impressive collection!
Beloved likes 'em fine as long as everything is kept clean. She's a keeper.
If this is the "wrong" kind of pornography, I don't want to be right!
At last, a glimpse into the sanctum sanctorum, from which, one day, Brian Hughes will RULE THE WORLD! MWAAA-HA-HA-HA! er, ahem. Awesome collection, Brian. Must be great to live in a part of the country where you can have a basement. The bulk of my collection is still boxed up. Really dig your DCUA dollies. Can't say I've ever seen the Demon and Blue Devil figs before.
I just moved and decided: My next life I’m collecting stamps. If I had as many stamps as I do comics, I could move them in a briefcase, not a moving truck!
MegoThor: Can't have a basement?!? Stupid ocean. Well, somehow you've got to get on the man-cave train, man. Set your dollies free!
Coco 67: You sure love moving. You should start collecting antique wardrobes. And bowling balls.
I am agog (but not amagog)
To quote our lord and savior J.R. "Bob" Dobbs: Too much is always better than not enough!
Wow, that's quite an impressive collection!
Brian -- Would you be at all interested in running this again for the Shelf Porn feature over at the Robot 6 blog? Let me know -- cmautneratcomcastdotnet
